EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Central Arizona Association of Governments is re-opening the Executive Director’s position.

Position is located in Apache Junction, AZ.  Compensation will be negotiated within a range of approximately $110,000 to $120,000 annually along with a benefit package.  CAAG is searching for its next Executive Director.  Incumbent is retiring after 19 years with the organization.

CAAG is one of Arizona’s six area planning agencies and has 22 member government agencies.  Position is responsible for operation of a planning agency with 21 employees operating 9 programs in Gila and Pinal counties, a 10,000 square mile area. 

Requirements:  possess at a minimum an appropriate Bachelor’s degree along with significant experience in one or more areas of public administration.  Special Skills:  Must be a team-builder who can successfully engage the member governments and continuously show them their active participation in the agency has value.
