Southeastern Arizona Governments Organization is a regional
planningagency which performs and coordinates a variety of
functions. SEAGO's mission is to assist local governments in seeking
cooperative solutions to area-wide problems; to provide a forum for regional
policy development and serve as a coordinating link between city, county, regional, state,
and federal agencies. SEAGO's goal is to provide accurate, credible information to decision makers so that the best choices can be made for the region's future. SEAGO's programs focus on issues which often cross jurisdictional boundaries, such as water quality and transportation.

SEAGO exists to enhance the abilities of member governments and their constituent populations to more effectively and efficiently identify and access state, federal, and private resources that may be available to those entities. SEAGO provides technical assistance to member entities in the areas of aging, community development, economic development, environment, housing, social services, and transportation. SEAGO strives to optimize the utilization of resources available to the region.
