Pathways Out of Poverty

Propelling Green Career Pathways & Apprenticeship into the Future: Weatherization, Building Performance, HVAC and Solar

Investments in the green economy can revitalize old industries, create new industries and generate new jobs for our workforce.

CAAG is a national demonstration site for building a "green" workforce. Eligible applicants to the program will receive training leading to certification in one of the target industries and job placement. Training may consist of technical courses, hands-on instruction, or college classes, depending on the best match for the participant.
Opportunities and Benefits

Participants may be eligible for:

•  Job readiness and pre-employment support services;

•   Employment in weatherization, green building, solar or HVAC;

•   Classroom and on-the-job training in HVAC, building performance, green construction and solar

•   Green career pathways with industry standard professional development and certifications
