ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNING COMMITTEE

The Environmental Planning Committee (EPC) is one of CAAG's standing committees. The function of the EPC is to provide technical support to the CAAG Regional Council on Environmental issues. Today, EPC's main function is the review of Amendments to the CAAG 208 Areawide Water Quality Management Plan, which discusses water quality issues within the Region, and identifies sources of pollution.

EPC is made up of professionals from different facets of Environmental Planning, including water, wastewater, environmental health, air quality, natural resource conservation, and agriculture. This group of professionals lay the groundwork for the Region's overall direction for Environmental issues.
