The Central Arizona Association of Governments (CAAG) is a Council of Governments that serves as the regional planning agency for Pinal and Gila Counties. CAAG provides a regional forum for analysis, discussion, and resolution of issues including areas of transportation, environmental quality, community and economic development, job training, and social services.

CAAG prides itself in finding new and innovative solutions to regional issues. The face of Region V is rapidly changing, and CAAG is committed to meeting the challenges of a growing area through partnership and collaborative effort.

MAG PRESENTATION TO PINAL COUNTY TRANSPORTATION POLICY COMMITTEE

Dennis Smith from the Maricopa Association of Governments made a presentation to the Pinal County Transportation Policy Committee on Tuesday, June 23rd.

CAAG WELCOMES AK-CHIN INDIAN COMMUNITY, GILA RIVER INDIAN COMMUNITY, SAN CARLOS APACHE TRIBE TO THE REGION!

This spring, both the Gila River Indian Community and the San Carlos Apache Tribe passed resolutions adopting CAAG's Mission and electing to become members of CAAG.

With the addition of our new members, CAAG now serves 21 communities.

MILITARY HISTORY IS ALIVE IN CENTRAL ARIZONA

As part of a grant received by the Economic Development Administration (EDA), CAAG has created a website based on the insert published in the Arizona Republic in March 2007.
